Me and my boys really like the band Linkin Park. When we heard bits and pieces of the new album, I really was not sure what to think or even if I wanted to buy it. My boys kept pushing me and we ended up purchasing it. After listening to the entire album several times, I am glad I bought it. The album is not overloaded with numerous cuts that will make for "radio" play but overall album is a nice set that I can listen to and enjoy. "The Catalyst" is the only real song that can kind of stand alone as the hit of this album, but it is not the type of "Tranformer title track" hits that Linkin Park has been rolling out lately. There are some other songs that I like as well: Burning in the Sky, and Iridescent are notable songs from the remaining tracks and are free of questionable language so the family can enjoy those. This has subtle difference from previous LP releases but it definitely still LP type music. I am glad I got a deal on Ebay for this album, because of the lack of numerous quality tracks I was not sure if I wanted to pay full price for it.However I still think there are some quality songs that you can listen to over and over again, and definitely will "grow" on you so as to keep them on your playlists for weeks to come. Happy listening!!!!!!Read full review
Yet another great album by a great band. Another album to add to the collection for any LP fan. CD plays fine, no scratches, doesn't skip, case it came in is flawless.

i love this cd! linkin park always makes a good rock album. if you like some political type sounds in your rock music you will love this cd. this cd also shows linkin park's serious side on a few of the tracks like #15. check it out.
Editorial reviews The structures give vocalists Chester Bennington and Mike Shinoda plenty of emotive space -- and both deliver. Billboard Linkin Park have outlasted the genre's brief '90s boom, consistently pulling digestible melodies from staticky storm clouds of sound. -- Grade: B Entertainment Weekly Rolling Stone With Rick Rubin co-producing, the band embraces not just synth pop clamor but also dancehall-style chants and U2's grandiosity.
I have read a lot of negative reviews about this cd. I think that Linkin Park's music has changed, which is not a bad thing. This cd is more mellow than their usual music, but it still has the loved Chester yell as well as Mike rapping. It is still a fun cd to listen to, even if it is not the alternative music that many of us expect from them.
The disc came quickly, is in perfect condition, and the seller was absolutely fantastic, would definitely buy from again.

Although not one of their best albums, this still has the distinct feel of Linkin Park in it. With songs like "The Cataylst" and "Waiting for the End," Linkin Park is showing they still know how to make music. Some of the songs are questionable or downright un-listenable, but there are more good songs then bad songs.
I can't rate this product because I did not receive it 😞
