    Interesting------plz read--- Samsung BN59-00849A Remote

    The item was brand new. It is very good, even excellent! But I discovered something readers should know. I already have this item with my Samsung LED. It also works very well. I wanted to have two: one for me, and one for my wife as we watch TV side by side. That way I don't have to hand it over to her when I decide to roll over and go to sleep. So.... I bought another one. Here's the issue. When I pair the new one, the old one no longer works! When I pair the old one, the new one won't work. Apparently you can only pair one remote with the TV. You can't add another. So it sits, to this day, in my drawer. The only advantage is that, should one break, I have another as a backup. -- R
