Bought 2 (20) piece rolls of Gem BU (Brillant Uncirculated) half dollars and the coins did not meet the criteria. Seller refused to adjust price for normal half dollars. Common description of these coins: "Gem BU, Gem Brilliant Uncirculated – A coin designated Gem BU should typically be a handsome uncirculated specimen with few heavy marks or other detractions." Many coins received were discolored, heavy engraved markings and multicolored coins. Pics below show yellow color, not BU.

offered a full refund for a complete return. company policy to not do partials as there are too many scammers. This is a classic example of an uneducated collector and not a numismatist. BU pertains to strike. not coloration. Plenty of Toned, Hazed and Stained coins are BU.
