NOTICE: rug book authors, rug "scholars", armchair rug expert quarterbacks, etc. All textbooks & auction catalogues should be corrected with the proper nomenclature or addendums to correctly identify this Kirsehir rug design pool as a "pictorial pleasure garden", NOT as a cemetery rug! Thanks to the seller for this correction of decades long mis-information. A+ study group piece displaying an insect-derived cochineal red dye lot along with a deeply saturated aubergine eggplant purple. Nice!
