wired in-ear headphones are still needed today. (newer Bluetooth cannot do everything and requires charger.) (I use with SONYs SBH54 & SBH56. = Bluetooth headsets with wired headphones. WIN-WIN) Stocking up before I can't find new-condition. Currently have 5-pair (IE2 & soundtrue in ear. soundtrue has better-fuller sound also solid minimal contrast colors) Bose is most comfortable. And actually stays in ears. While still being able to hear surrounding (using BOSE stayhear+ tips, not included, are an added plus for noise cancelation) Pairing with SONYs hi-res audio is PERFECT. (not willing to buy SONYs IERS @ $500-2000 without knowing sound quality. Their comfort is there)wired in-ear headphones are still needed today. Not What I expected (I don't mean it the good way either!)
So I got these today. Are they lightweight? Yes. The sound is ok. Unfortunately, they just don't fit snug in my ear and too much noise from the outside comes in and too little of the great "Bose" sound comes in. What the Heck man! I was really let down with the quality of the ear-buds and the fit. Too bad. Will never buy these or similar buds again from Bose.

Functionality and design all in one package!
I bought these headphones because I wanted a good pair with sound quality alon with functionality. I use these in my helmet when I ride my motorcycle and these are the only ones that don't come out of my ear when putting on and removing my helmet. I love the main idea of these headphones with the ear piece that makes them functional and almost the only one out there. They are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The downfall with them is that the sound quality is not all there as to expect with a set of Bose headphones. I have a pair of skull kandy that honestly sound better and clear and actually can be louder than these. But overall the functionality of them still sells me on them. I would recommend them to someone looking for the same use as I do or someone that hates ... I bought these headphones because I wanted a good pair with sound quality alon with functionality. Stays in ear
I bought this because I was looking for an in-ear headphone that would stay put while I'm at the gym. I lift weight and jog on the treadmill and use the elliptical. These headphones are comfortable and actually stay in my ears for the whole workout. The trade-off is that they don't create as tight a seal as the in-ear-canal headphones. So the bass isn't as strong, but it is consistent. When my in-ear headphones pop out, the sound quality falls drastically. These headphones have a constant 80% sound quality of a good in-ear canal headphone. Also, they let in a lot of ambient noise. Overall, I still haven't found the perfect workout headphone, but this is the best one I've tried so far by a LOTI bought this because I was looking for an in-ear headphone that would stay put while I'm at the gym. Excellent sound quality in a non-noisy environment. I love it.
The Bose head set is one of the best just playing music on the go. It has excellent Bose high quality sound. It stays in your ear very nicely. It’s not a noise cancelling so, it does not keep too much noise out in the flight. So for that reason I may have to get another set. Very pleased for regular use i a non-noisy environment. I would give it a between good to excellent or 4.5 star.
