This is a wonderful camera. This Sony Cyber-shot is as close as you get to a DSLR (professional camera) yet still be a point and shoot camera. It has 8.1 MP and has amazing picture quality as well as a large zoom. The features are pretty good and you can even do editing on the camera itself. I have taken some pictures of youth events and got great clear pictures of some youth running and jumping with no blur. Also it has the ability to lock on a subject and follow them with the auto focus. The last big plus that makes this close to a DSLR is the fact you can get a lens hood for it and a adapter where you have the ability to use various filters. Overall a great camera for a point and shoot. If someone is looking to get some great pictures and have the ability to use filters like a professional level camera but think the DSLR cameras are too complicated or too expensive this would be a great camera to get.Read full review
First of all, the seller was fast and truthful. The camera has lived up to all my expectations. We have purchased close up lenses and ordered wide angle lenses for it. This is the second one I own to put pictures on the web weekly for our Friday night live auction. Cards are plentiful and affordable. I can takle close ups of small items such as coins or jewelry and large full room pictures. I plan on finding one more of these to use here in the store, that will keep all cards, flashes, and additional lenses standardized. I can not say enough good things about this model Sony camera
I bought thi camera as I always love sony, and it has the 10 x optical zoom, i like for my cruise pictures. Lighweight and easy to use. DO not like the price on the duo memory card but I can get them on e-bay as the local stores charge more for them, but sony is changing this and going to sd cards.
Hello! I LOVE my camera!! My best friend has a Sony DSC-H10 and I saw some of the pictures she was taking and they were beautiful. I had always been a Fuji fan until I started shooting with her Sony. I had tried several times to win the bid on one on ebay. I finally got it. Just the camera and battery. Nothing else. The day it arrived I was so excited!! I was in hopes that it would take just as good a picture as my best friend's. The next day I had to help with a friend's grandaughter's birthday party so this would be my moment of truth for the Sony. I had reservations about it. I carried my Fuji too. Just in case. Well, the party was at Pizza Hut. We were getting ready. I took a few shots. The pictures looked OK. Then I went outside to grab some more gear and my nieghbor pulled up in his truck. (all of our kids went to school together) He had his 5 year old grand daughter with him. I did not have 1 picture of her. She's just precious. I asked him to wait a second and let me set up my tripod so I could take a picture of them together. I rolled off 3 shots of them. I told Emma,( the grand daughter that I would see her tommorrow.) Of course we got lots of hugs and kisses and they left. Now don't leave me just yet, pay attention, please. The next day was Emma's grand mothers birthday.(Beth). When I downloaded the pictures all 3 were just beautiful! The lighting was right, the subjects were right, the shots were fantastic! I edited them and put the 2 best pics in frames. I called Beth's house and her husband answered the phone. I asked him if he had said anything about me taking the pictures, he said "no." I told him I would be there in a minute. I drove up the road and pulled in the drive. I knocked on the door and we had the usual hug. (we're BIG HUGGERS around here) I had a party bag with the pictures of Grandpa and Emma in the frames. I handed it to Beth and said,"Happy Birthday!" When she saw the pictures, she welled up with tears and actually choked up. Then we all started to well up with happy tears because it was a total surprise to her. Those 3 shots captured grandpa and grand daughter with so much love for each other, the only thing you could've done, was to share them!! I will never forget those 3 shots. If I ever lose the pictures themselves, I will still have it in my mind. Forever. It makes a person feel that there is still something that you can do to put a smile on someone's face. I have to tell you that if I had NOT had the DSC-H3 Sony, I would never gotten a picture that had so much emotion! So, that's my story! I hope you liked it. Thank you for considering my review. This is a great little camera. Since then, I have purchased the Sony DSC-H50 9.1 mp. When I grow up, I want a Sony a50. THE BIG ONE!! Smile, Smile,Smile!! LouRead full review
A great buy with lots of features and benefits. The continuous shoot feature is great for catching kids in the moment. The screen size is really great and the picture is good also. Love this camera.
It was pretty easy to use! The image quality is great/exceptional! Took a bit longer to get here though. Great and decent price! It came in excellent condition!

For the price and the size, that camera will surprise you. The zoom work charm, automatic or manual configurations will make the camera perfect for simple photos with great quality. I do recommend for those who want to have also a pocket camera for all occasions.
I have had this model Sony camera for years: it's been (literally) to the top of really big mountains and half way around the world with me! Unfortunately, it died recently, probably worked to death. So I bought a replacement! Exactly like mine, only looks newer. Works perfect, even came with the original box, manual, battery, charger and strap! (I threw my box away years ago, and lost the manual) Did not have the SD card, but no problemo-I have mine! I could not be happier with it!- - -now if it will only last as long as my old one did. It included a phone number to call for repair questions: think I'll call it and find out if my old now non-functional one is worth repairing! Thanks again!

I love the quality picture even though it's just 8.1 megapix, the clarity is still excellent. The sports mode are the best, it's gives you all the fine pose you wanna get, and it's fast for a beginner. This is great even with snow picture taking. I love it.
Just the same camera I bought 11 years. Mine, the flash no longer working. So glad to find the same camera and made in Japan.
