    Compatible with some third party apps

    This dongle is compatible with Cvtz50 for a majority of vehicles that have a CVT transmission. (Most common app used for Nissan/Jatco type cvts) Connected and turned on without any issues and needed it specifically to read various values and pull cvt codes as I did not want to take it somewhere and pay a premium.

    Lacks most basic functionality features especially on French cars.

    This product lacks some basic functionality especially when it comes to French vehicles. Most features are not supported even info about a vehicle . It does work well for others like BMW though.

    Does what it should!

    Worked well, read my codes and I cleared the check-engine light. It’s been off for a month. Now I don’t have to go to a shop to get codes checked. Because of COVID, parts stores won’t check your check-engine light anymore (which is understandable). Now I can do it at home. Well worth the money.

    Good value and it works as advertised

    I purchased this scanner to see if I could determine if the gas cap was causing the error code or if it was more serious. The device worked as I hoped it would and I was able to check the code, reset it and see what happened after a new gas cap was installed. So far, so good. I would recommend it for anyone who wants to do simple checks and resets but I don’t know enough to say if it would work for a professional.

    Better than advertised

    Works perfect, sturdy, can take getting banged around a bit in a tool box. Works quick, easy to navigate menu, great price. Saves alot of $ reading codes at home. Paid for itself many times over with just the first use. Do yourself a favor, if you have a vehicle that,used OBDII, get a reader. Keep the $ in your wallet, quit putting the local repair shops kids thru college.
