    First Rate Performance

    Giulini's Brahms First Symphony may be the most recent top notch performance of the work, and is in very good sound. He brings the best out of the orchestra, which has only recently been rejuvenated under Dudamel - himself one of the top conductor today. However, Dudamel in Brahms is hardly Giulini, as evidenced by the video broadcasts in France. Thus, the performance here can be ranked along with the finest.
