      beautiful tone and fast response as advertised, but bouncy sometimes

      This bow definitely has a richer, warmer tone than any other bow I have, and I have both carbon fiber and brazil wood and some less expensive wood bows. The balance point is closer to the grip by about an inch, making the bow feel light (though it is not in total weight), and making in very responsive. I tend to bow aggressively and play faster. The downside of this is sometimes on fast exciting tunes it starts bouncing, which makes a wavering sound. After a few days I seem to be getting the hang of preventing this, but be advised. It may require a little more skill. It is not as loud as my brazil wood bow. Then neither is my carbon fiber bow. I wonder if this is due to the center of mass shift, by which the brazil wood bow puts a little more weight on strings without my effort?

      IT IS OK FOR AN INEXPENSIVE FIDDLE BOW. SOMEWHAT HEAVY, ETC. BUT OK FOR THE PRICE, JUST FINE.
