        Works great for my shorter hair.

        I have tried drugstore vented brushes but they just don't work that well for short hair. I noticed that the one my hairdresser used on me seemed to grip my hair better so I snapped a photo of it (this Denman brush!) and found it online. This one is so easy for me to use - the size is a bit smaller so it fits in my hand better. It gives me better control so I am able to get the lift I want. Love it!

        Unusable Brush

        I bought this to replace the same item I’ve had for years, that had lost about half of its bristles. For the new brush, the bristles are much harder, more rigid and the tips are smaller and almost sharp. Totally uncomfortable for brushing your hair. It won’t get used.

        Great brush for curly hair!

        Great brush for extremely curly 3A hair. I don't know if this would work for African-American hair or not because mine is naturally frizzy thick curly European-type red hair. This brush is great because it has just the right balance of spring/flex and firmness in the tines. The balls on the end are small enough not to rip out hair like many others do, and the tines are widely spaced so they slide through thick hair.
