Solid Second DP Release
Second DP release. Vocalist Rod Evans shines on this sophomore effort. Highlights include the Purple cover of Neil Diamond's 'Kentucky Woman' and the instrumental 'Wring That Neck'. Nick Simper does a fine job as bass guitarist (he would subsequently be replaced by Roger Glover). Jon Lord and Ritchie Blackmore shine on Keyboards and guitar, respectively. Ian Paice on drums rounds out this formidable lineup. Highly recommended to fans of 60s British pop and rock music in general.
