I am experimenting using these to detect the temperature in my car and at the 40C mark trigger a new electric fan. I may have to upgrade the temp to say 90C, however that remains to be seen the idea is to replace the Kenlow Fan Temp Detector which has failed and for which there are no more Kenlow spares
