    Boring lecturer; poor graphics

    This is something less than a "great" course. The lecturer is not very engaging, his graphics are not very good. The content itself is fine, but I expect more from Great Courses. By contrast, the Great Courses "Understanding Greek and Roman Technology" is engaging and fascinating.
