    I wanted aluminum, but its not available

    it seems like a cast aluminum housing is not available, the thermostat has a plastic housing also, the only bad part is my own fault in not trusting plastic stuff as a car part, especially with the heat, my stock one is the same and it has worked for 100,000 miles, this cant be that bad, lasting as long as it did, fairly easy install too
