    Diva cup

So i was kinda skeptical of the diva cup before using it. I didnt know how it'd feel, or if itd leak, or if itd last the 10-12 hours like it said it does depending on flow. But after watching a couple 'how to' videos and reading the instructions i decided to give it a go! This is probably my best investment for a feminine hygiene product. No leaks, wore it 10 hours and wasnt even full, and once inserted right i didnt even feel it through the day. Kinda had to find what worked for me to get it right and took a little bit to get it but definitely worth it! Especially when i can just go through my whole day not having to worry about it.

    A bit painful for me

I tried this because it seems great to not constantly buy and replace tampons. Tampons are uncomfortable for me. This was just as uncomfortable..... The only good thing is that you don't have to carry tampons around ever. But I find that every time I go to the restroom, it starts to fall out. Im 36, fit and have not had intercourse in 3 years so its not like Im loose. (Im being detailed because it will help someone someday :) I like that it is surgical silicone. I will be trying the softcups next which are disposable and you can have sex while wearing one. ( In case I do get lucky soon! :) Hope it works for you!

  • much better than anticipated

I was skeptical about the functionality of the product, but several friends told me to take the plunge... it was pretty amazing. Works like it says it will, easy to use, virtually no learning curve. Wondering why I was so freaked out by this in the first place?!

  • Life changing

I want to experiment with with it more to see how would it survive time but from where i am now it’s perfect I danced , slept and exercised wearing it no problems and i have had 3 berths. Yet there is one thing that I’m concerned about is when the time comes to empty the cup it’s a bit slippery so I have to use my nails on it and that always get me thinking that I’ll damage it somehow. The product is great but I’m concerned for its longevity .

  • Life changing

I was going to wait until I had completed my period to write a review but I'm on day 2 of trying the Diva Cup and I can already say that it's a life changer. I had watched many product reviews before my purchase, which I highly recommend. I felt way more prepared and the instructions it comes with aren't the most helpful. The cup is more comfortable than a tampon and lasts longer. Everything about it is a win. Cleaning it out doesn't bother me, I suppose if you are squeamish with your own menstruation that would be the only drawback. But I love this product and recommend it to everyone to at least try.

  • Wish I could have found this 20 years ago!

A girlfriend told me about this product so I decided to give it a try. After years of buying super absorbency tampons and pads, I was ready to try something else. I have an auto-immune disease and have been concerned about the bleaching chemicals and synthetic fabrics in tampons, as well as toxic shock syndrome. Not to mention that since my flow is very heavy, I feel like I'm tethered to the bathroom for a week and practically need a suitcase to carry around enough tampons to last me throughout my 10 hour workdays. When the Diva cup arrived, I read the instructions which seemed fairly simple. When my cycle started, I gave it a go. It took a few attempts to get it inserted correctly and since you insert it folded, I wanted to be sure it was "opened up" correctly. I found the secret for me was to fold it, insert it pushing in towards the tailbone, and as I was inserting it, to spin it slowly 360 degrees until it was in place. The cup will unfold as you rotate it ensuring it seals to prevent leaks. You insert it just far enough until the plastic nub at the bottom is level with the vaginal opening. Once in place, I couldn't feel a thing. To remove it, I bear down a bit which pushes the cup down until I can grab the tip. I pinch it with my finger tips, which breaks the suction seal. Then I just wiggle it a bit from side to side, slide it out, empty, rinse, and reinsert. I used a pad with it for the first day or two because I was afraid of leakage but there wasn't any! I found that even on heavy days I could change it once before work in the morning and it would last all day until I got home in the evening, so when the they say you only need to empty it every 12 hours, they are not lying. No more carrying around tampons, running to the bathroom all day, worrying about leakage, or paying for feminine products. I will be taking a 14 day cruise next month and of course I'll be having my period during that time. Before the Diva Cup, I would have been packing a ton of pads and tampons, making sure there I had access to bathrooms at every port, beach, or excursion, and would be constantly worrying about leakage. Now, I only have to pack my Diva Cup and I know I'll be good all day until I get back on the ship. I recommended it to my daughter and sister, who both love it as well.

  • Convenient & Affordable Alternative

The Diva Cup is a very good product & my second time buying it in over 3-1/2 years. I like it because it's comfortable, convenient, discrete, & completely affordable versus other product options. Plus, once you know your body & proper use of the product, it truly becomes the best option, especially in public situations over other alternatives. I would like to point out it will take some trial & error to position it correctly, so accidental spills won't become an issue, but it's worth it... just be patient. I truly recommend it for anyone who is looking for a better choice & wanting to save money.

  • Money and life saver :)

I read a lot about it before buying, it was a little scary to try it... what if a cup would stock in there :/ But it is so easy and simple to use a cup. For the first several month I used it with a pad, just to make sure that everything is safe :) now it's just a cup + liner. I'm glad that I tried it, it saves lots of money, plus you can easily go to the pool without any worries. If you decided to try it, don't give right after first couple of days, give it a time and you'll love it

  • Diva cup Post childbirth

Was introduced to the diva cup by my daughter. Was very hesitant to try it, but LOVE this product! I am very sensitive in that area, so tampons and pads can at times be an issue as they irritate me, but much to my surprise, the Divacup is comfortable and awesome! No leaks, great quality.

  • Innovative product with many benefits

It takes a good amount of practice to insert and remove the Diva Cup with ease, but once you get the hang of it, it is actually easier to use than the usual disposable products. I feel cleaner and more confident, despite the moments of panic I felt during my first couple days. Highly recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to hassle with their routine maintenance every month!
