An excellant addition to your DVD-Audio collection
This is a great sounding DVD-Audio. While the best known song on the album is the cover title, "Running on Empty", I have to say, the songs, "The Road", "The Load Out", and "Stay make an excellent mini-themed trilogy about life on the road and concert life. Those 3 together have already replaced the title track as my favorite...if 3 songs can be considered as one song. It's a shame there isn't a 5.1 mix of Bob Seger's "Turn the Page" and a way to burn perfect mixes of 5.1 music from DVD-Audio. All the more reason to find a copy of this to add to the collection. If your a fan of 70's easy listening rock, like the Eagles, I'd certainly recommend this. Hope that helps make up your mind.
