    Beautiful and well built

    This chest is a real beauty. It is strongly made with real wood and has a rich finish. The inside is completely lined with felt to ward against tarnish. The only complaint about this chest is that the drawers are about a half inch less deep that the top shelf. For me this is a problem because I can't fit my extra knives in the drawers and this limits the amount of pieces I am able to fit in the drawers. If you have no more than 12 place-settings or your knives are 9" or shorter, this chest will work perfectly for you. In terms of quality I think it is currently the best on the market.

    fine chest with one problem

    The biggest problem I see is that the slots are too wide for the spoons, forks, etc, so everything just sloshes around, banging into one another. Besides this it's a good value, light, and well made, and would probably buy it again.

    High quality item

    Very pleased with this chest. It is so roomy and accommodates many extra serving pieces in addition to all of the place settings. Extremely well made and lovely wood with tarnish preventing liner. It exceeded my expectations in every way. So pleased to have gotten a cheaper price as well. High recommend this flatware chest. Some of the pulls are a bit loose but that doesn't seem to affect anything.

    Love this beauty!!

    I had a smaller silverchest, but just got 8 more place setting. Needed a larger chest. This has 2 drawers for extra pieces, including serving pieces. The color/stain is a great color. This chest was the best price I found. Shipped and arrived ahead of estimated date.
