VOSTOK AMPHIBIA 420334. Model: 420334. Series: Amphibia. For extended longevity and peak performance of your Vostok watch, kindly refer to these instructions. The Vostok watch does not have a “Quick Set” date system, however, you can adjust the date faster.
My dad recommended these! Like any watch, you need to set it up. Adjust it, adjust the time. My first one was a wind only... I don't recommend those when for $10 you can get an automatic winding. I will warn you though, wind it for about a minute then give up... we think they have over winding protection, after trying to wind it for 5 minutes it got a little old. Lots of people point out it's flaws, but something you need to keep in mind is the Russians know how to make something robust. This watch will last 10 years, at least. I dropped my wind only komandirskie on concrete, btw their leather bands do not hold up. One thing I don't like, is the bezel is about 1mm lower than the crystal, so both of mine are All scratched up, But still very visible. If you want a watch that has lasted me since 09, has a Non rotating bezel Above the crystal, and is still ticking-just needs a new band-get a Casio g-shock. The Vostok watches are purely mechanical. No batteries. No gps, prompting directions, or heart rate... but I don't need that stuff. I'm trained on staying healthy and navigation. Sure I miss my turn every now and then, who doesn't? I have more than 3 gps's, not counting my phone... after awhile, I realized that by the time I punch it in on my gps, I could be there by now... my brain is Way faster. The only electronic device that comes close to my brain is my iPhone 7 plus, and I think my brain will last me longer than my phone, so I'll take good care of my brain and all my tools. Besides that's why people do puzzles, to stay sharp.
