The story is about the cast of the fictional series 'Galaxy Quest,' which is no longer in production, who are recruited by actual aliens who think their televised adventures were real. The aliens, called the Termians, need their help to defeat a genocidal reptilian warlord named General Sarris. The 2013 DVD release of this cult classic satire includes a wealth of extra features, including deleted scenes and extensive background information for the movie.

Great - funny- heartwarming>>Movie
Really funny movie- This is (Basically) a spoof of Star Trek- but done in a wonderful fashion. The guy who is a "Red Shirt" is probably the funniest- but everything is funny. How could they make a movie this funny and yet it is a Loving tribute also...? Just amazing! Back around 2000, my father and I had an argument- I felt really bad- so, knowing how funny this movie was, I rented it and watched- cheered me right up.

I'm replacing DVDs with Blu Rays! Galaxy Quest assembled a cast of actors that worked together to make an entertaining movie; and that's why I would see it over again! It's even better in Blu Ray!
