    Dewalt ultra light portable saws

    I've had a similar Craftsman battery powered saw that i used often but batteries did not last. This replacement saw is awesome for the DIYer that has a need for a light portable tool without having to drag out the extension cord. I have used it while on a ladder making cuts without having to climb down which is a real time saver. This is one example of the versatility. I wouldn't try to use it for continuous sawing during building projects. Dewalt did a good job building this ultralight saw for convenience. The Dewalt compact sawsall is also a pleasure to add to your your tool box.

    Great saw

    Saw was refurbished and looks brand new. Battery life is good, cuts 2x4 and 2x6 w/o a problem. I use it for wood projects around the house so a contractor may have a different opinion. Its comparable to any "skill" say I've used. NO CORDS :) .Shipping was fast, saw was a 1/3 of the cost od new at my local hardware store.

    A great saw with plenty of power!!

    This saw is extremely fast when it comes to cutting 2X4's and plywood. The saw will cut for hours on a single battery 5 watt. Another great feature is no cord to get in the way. It is light and easy to use.

    Another great DeWalt tool

    I am quickly becoming a DeWalt 20v Maxx fan. This circular saw has performed flawlessly. I like being able to utilize power tools on demand and without electrical cords. This saw has both depth and angle adjustments that are easy to manipulate and provides enough power to easily cut through framing lumber and sheet goods, etc. Love it.

    Good skill saw

    Dewalt quality and performance. Light and easy to use. Lots of power for a battery saw. Great for those jobs where you don't want to lug around a cord. The blade brake is a great safety feature as it slows the blade down much faster than the Makita version. All in all, I am very happy with this saw, and would recommend it. 30+ years of carpentry makes me comfortable in my recommendation of this product.

    Effective light-weight saw

    This saw works great for cutting plywood or 2x4s. Accurate, easy to hold, and relatively light weight. It really is a pleasure to cut with. It works fine on the 2A battery, but uses it up quickly. If you're going to do much cutting, a larger battery or multiple smaller batteries will be helpful.

    Powerful, light weight saw.

    I paired this saw with two 5aH batteries and have not once regretted that combo. Plenty of battery capacity for a day's work. So far have built two decks using 2x8 and 4x4 pt lumber without a single issue. Cuts fast, holds a charge, light weight. Does everything I need a circular saw to do. Get one.

    Great saw, awesome power.

    Runs perfectly, run a moderate sized handyman business. Use the saw almost daily if not more. The saw runs through 2x4's and double cuts 4x4 smooth without hangups or pauses. You may want to use a bigger battery then a 1amp, but would buy this all over again, no questions.

    Great light saw

    This is a great light saw. Let's you do your cuts you need too upside down around windows easily. I have a couple sauce I want to use this to go through hardwood or rip anything thick. I have a DeWalt 7 1/4 for that .This is a right hand saw. Some of dewalts saws are right-handed or left-handed this would be a right handed . Good all around saw . And this is not brushless.
