    Happy

    Replacing old lid on Jandy pump, with new lid and o-rings took care of air getting into system at the pump. The existing jandy pump was only 3 years old which was surprising.

    Pool pump cover

    The cover solved my air leak problem. I changed gaskets with no remedy. I then changed the cover and the air leak was sealed. Pump fired right up with good pressure.Try using a low flowing garden hose on the top while the pump is trying to prime. A garden hose helps to find air suction leaks. Side note. Used a piece of roof flashing to fix the filter pump internal re-enforcing ring failure.
