Great for Display purposes only
Please be aware of this particular ornament it is a collectible in most parts,but if you want to plug it in to a string of lights it may not work. This particular ornament has a defect in it where the audio may work for a brief time and stop working. There is a fix on you tube to show you how to fix it. I prefer myself to not make any attempt to fix it and just display the ornament in a show case, and keep it original.

Has a factory flaw
This is a really cool ornament though sadly it suffered from poor manufacturing. From what I've read and from my personal experience the sound goes out on these due to a cheap capacitor. The light (portal) fortunately runs on a separate capacitor and seems to be a non issue with that part. Unfortunately, the capacitor the manufacturer chose to use in this caused the ornament to heat up and capacitor to blow. So, when you press the secret button on the pillar sadly it doesn't play the phrases from the show anymore. There is a good side though if you know how to use a soldering Iron just buy a 1000uf 16v 105C capacitor for a couple bucks and replace the faulty capacitor and it will run fine again. It MUST be a 105C version of the capacitor to stand the warm up of the ornament. If your not good at that type of thing there are people on ebay that offer their services to fix for your ornament for you for around 30 bucks. Overall I still have to recommend the ornament as it looks really cool.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Advertised as New In the Box, But Sound did not work
