My first one. Set & calibration up is easy. Force feedback is perfect. Owner's manual is detailed. Set up and initial calibration take between five and ten minutes. I have play Forza 5 for about 20 hours collectively and this setup is flawless. Force feedback is accurate. I also purchased an Apiga driving rig. Totally badass setup. Horrible
This wheel is horrible. It cheaply made it doesn’t work one bit. I wanted to play ets2 but the steering wheel is only for Xbox. Then I tried play truck driver and guess what it didn’t work. I tried for a week and nothing. So I returned it and am getting the thrust master TMX which is way better and it is compatible with pc and Xbox. I will also get a Logitech g920 which is also compatible with Xbox and pc so I can see what better. One thing I learned is never buy it cheap.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Some improvement required
The clamp needs to be more solid. It cannot be sufficiently tightened without fear of breaking it. Additionally, the pedals are overly stiff. This is a relatively inexpensive wheel, so kids get to use it. There should be an easy way to adjust the tension. An adjustable cam would be nice. Works great for Forza 6!
Be sure to set the Calibration by pushing L/R paddle, A and Y at the same time, keep doing that until the white indicator light on the controller flashes 4 times. The thrustmaster Ferrari 458 steering wheel is alright. Don't get me wrong for give it 4 stars. It's definitely for beginners and for the price it's not bad. Its a great wheel overall, especially for it's price. Perfect beginner wheel for people wanting to get into sim racing. Easy to set up most newer racing games have pre set settings for it so really is a plug and play option. Not good with Forza 5 Horizon
In Forza 5 Horizon, it is very difficult to control steering input. Unlike F1 2021, you can actually select the steering wheel you have and it adapts to that wheel. Forza 5 you have to go in and continually adjust settings, and I have yet to get it even just right. It is really taking the fun out of playing this game.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
