Item was as described by the seller.
I chose to pay a little higher for this Canon Power Shot G9, than if I had bid on one, but I needed it for an upcoming trip. The purpose for this comment is for shoppers looking for a price comparison. This is a great little camera with a 1" image sensor which has more detail and gathers more light than the regular pocket compact cameras with 2/3" image sensors. It is heavier and bigger also. It has a fairly bright flash, and a 6 power optical zoom.

Great camera, unique features.
Great for events and image transfer to computer! For some dumb reason Canon discontinued the image transfer option on the newer proshot cameras.

Susceptible to dust.
This camera would be great if the manufacturer had bothered to seal the lens from dust and lint. As it is, you can be sure that your images will have spots all over them after a few days of using the camera.
