The item was exactly as expected. The post office took a long time with delivery for some reason, but the seller was responsive when I asked about it and he was able to prove he'd shipped it out quickly so I felt assured. Happy with my purchase!

    CAPRESSO INFINITY CONICAL BURR GRINDER

After reading numerous reviews before buying the Capresso grinder, I never thought I would have a problem with course grinds. The reviews said not the greatest grinder for espresso applications. Great for fine grinding and courser grinds. I use a percolator, so course is what I need. The coursest setting is like a medium fine, and gets finer as you rotate dial. I have been experimenting, and need to buy a drip coffee pot now I guess, as course setting is too fine. Other than that, the machine is fine. I went from a blade grinder to this, so maybe the answer is a new coffee pot. Cleaning is not the worse, but it's not super easy. I use a bigger brush, and make sure to clean all areas after every use.

Quiet, good grind if you can work around the drawbacks

Low end burr grinder with imprecise settings. It is quiet, and once you find the setting that works for your preferred method of a coffeemaking, you should mark it somehow with a fine tip marker or other way to get a more precise repetition. IT does seem to vibrate away from the setting, or if you want to try french press one day (also hard to get coarse enough) and switch back to drip or expresso, it does not always click to a precise spot where you got the best grind. You'll get close, but there is a distinct difference. The cleaning could be better, there are fines that fall into a rim within the grind chamber that are hard to get out, so unless you blow it out with canned air ( a messy proposition) or find some other way to dig the fines out, you have those sitting there oxidizing ...

  • Consistent and easy way to espresso grind with less noise

I was tired of my loud blade grinder and decided to spend the money on a burr type. As I hoped, it is significantly quieter so I don't have to grind the night before to keep from waking up the whole house first thing in the morning. Also great to dial in the amount and walk away. The fine setting works great for my espresso machine, and it can make enough for several cups at the same time. Looks like the only down side is cleaning the insides with that tiny brush, which is a price I'm willing to pay.

  • Easy to use

We bought this to go with a new espresso machine and it works great. It's easy to use and has a lot of settings that work great for our espresso machine and regular grind. There is a little bit of static cling with the plastic bin but I don't think that is avoidable from what I have read with other grinders also. All in all I would buy this again and recommend it as a affordable grinder for what ever you want to grind.

  • Nice entry level burr grinder with a few trade-offs

I've been using this grinder every day for about two years and generally like it a lot. The grind is consistent and even, with relatively little dust. It's not too loud, either. My coffee has definitely improved with this grinder. The trade-offs are the stupid spring - loaded timer knob that makes it hard to grind the right amount repeatedly (my $40 Cuisinart "burr" grinder did this better), a somewhat annoying grounds box that doesn't pour all, and that it is a pain to disassemble and clean. That said, it's a great value for the price and I'm glad I bought it.
