    Stallone and Hauer never looked so good!

    I have liked this movie for a long time. Yes, it is dated, with disco scenes and urban blight. But it shows Stallone as a tough cop trying to make a difference, while struggling with personal issues. And Rutger Hauer is thoroughly believable as a terrorist who will do anything to achieve his goals. The pace of the movie is good, with lots of action, and the surprise ending is terrific. I liked the supporting characters, too, most notably Billy Dee Williams as Stallone's partner. Together, you just know they are going to beat the bad guys!

    Good crime-thriller film

    Very good action and suspense. Rutger Hauer (His U.S. film debut) is an excellent antagonist, an international terrorist intent on moving to the top of the most dangerous world terrorist list. Sylvester Stallone and Billy Dee Williams are very good in their roles of NYPD detectives assigned to the ATAC (Anti-terrorist Action Command). Thrilling ending.
