  • Check on the weather without getting out of bed

    It's early days yet as I only just set the weather station up, but so far everything seems to be working fine. There's a bit of mucking around to set the wind sensor up for the southern hemisphere and the manuals can be somewhat confusing regarding the calibration process. I downloaded the latest WS2910-EN.pdf manual which explained the process better than the operation manual supplied which was for Model:WS69 sensors and didn't explain the correct buttons to press on the display to move the wind direction 180 degrees. Yes, that sounds weird. but the setup for the southern hemisphere advises to align the sensor unit with the West arrow pointing East for the best measurement of light etc. The sensor array is mounted approximately 40 metres away from the display and is separated by a ...
