Fantastic canning and preserving book. my mother work out of one of these don't know exactly what year probably 1930's. I bought my first in 1972 and a newer on in 1980. have bought as gifts for daughter and son and this newest purchase was for sister as gift. I not only can but collect jars, and other canning memorabilia Love my double stack 1940' qt. canner. I'm always finding recipes I have not tried in the Ball book but there are many I've committed to memory. This is a great reference book for novices and for us old pro as well a welcome addition to any kitchen library.
