      Saved my distrubutor

      This distributor repair plate is made of metal and was a lttle awkward to install but repaired my Vortec distributor on my 1998 5.7L chevy K1500. My distributor cap was loose on my distributor because the threads were stripped where the cap is mounted. I finally used a little exhaust repair putty on this plate to hold it in place on the underneath side of my distributor while i secured my distr. cap with the supplied screws. it works great. I would buy it again if i needed to but i think it is reusuable if i need to change my distr cap again.
