The lamps fit my existing trim. One of the bulbs plugged directly into my factory wiring connector. The other bulb didn't, after inspecting I noticed that the one that did not fit had a plastic sleeve inserted into the socket. I was able to use a small screw driver and pop it out. Once the sleeve was out it fit.
