Scabbard is actually wood core, which is very nice for a sword at this price point. Only drawback is the weight. Granted, the sales description seemed accurate, clearly stating a fairly heavy weight. If this sword was lighter, it would be perfect. As is right now, fairly hard to use. No complaints about the seller. A+, highly recommended. Thank you!
