A bit of trick advertising here as it's just the surface unit no top mount handle so not sure why this pic in the add as its not in the package...Few units very similar to this at half the price....so shop around...I only bought as thought this top mount gun came with it....package wasn't that secure as not taped to hold opening closed...I test and does work but seller needs to use true photos of item..

All 3 functions work as expected
Quite expensive, but it's a solid, reliable and precise tool. I used it to shorten an ebike chain which does not have a master link, and actually had to use all 3 functions - break chain, rivet pin and press plate. The manual was quite clear, and without any previous experience I was able to fix the chain with satisfying results. What I didn't like: a) some parts of the brand new set were already rusty - this does not affect usability, but it's just not what you expect from the new & expensive tool; b) instead of providing the paper manual (which is just three pages long) they throw in an A4 piece of paper with a link to download the pdf. I know about saving the trees etc, but when I'm working in the garage, it's just not convenient to check the manual on the screen, I need a printout, and ... Waste of money
Doesn’t work at all cannot help press a chain link apart as it cannot straddle the link your try to remove wasn’t much better at pressing the joiner link on either as the press plate doesn’t fit a standard 530 motor cycle chain no instructions wasn’t helpful either after fishing for instructions on line I found it was useless at everything
