Actually better than I could have hoped for and well worth the money
I've used just about every plastic and tempered glass screen protector out there for my Windows phones. I do have a strong preference for Matte finish as it reduces glare from ambient lighting and hides fingerprints. The Skinomi a) fits perfectly, b) is easy to apply without bubbles (following the instructions) and c) seems to be self-healing (so it will last much longer than regular plastic film protectors - my first Skinomi has lasted over 6 months and still looks new - see photo attached to review). The glass screen protectors will also last awhile, but a) interfere with the user's touch (no double-tap to wake up) and b) don't come in matte finish. Yes, at first the Skinomi price point seems high - I'm used to 3 plastic protectors for $5, so $10 for one Skinomi appears expensive. ... However, the plastic ones have to be changed every month or so, since they get damaged (they pull up at the edges and collect dirt underneath - Lumias have curved screens, and mine both comes in and out of its case and goes into a car cradle). The Skinomi really bonds to the curved screen, so it doesn't pull up at the edges, and looks like it is part of the phone. They key element is to be really patient with installing it - this should be the last thing you do before going to bed so you don't have to touch the phone for 5+ hours after applying the Skinomi. Yes, there are good YouTube videos that describe the process.
