not perfect, but good value
once i laid all the wiring and parts out, it seemed like everything made sense. Even though I don't think the housing fit perfectly in the bumper, they do look good. (could also be because I've replaced the front bumper previously?) The switch that came with them though was not right. It fit right in the dashboard where it should and looked great, but it blew out my fuses when i tried to turn the lights on. I must have gone through 1/2 dozen fuses of different types. after a day of testing and re-checking everything with a volt meter, i ended up just getting a toggle switch from Ace and using that instead. Other than that, i like them, car looks good, and i can see much better on my side streets at night. Was very helpful during a recent foggy rain (in Arizona? yes.) *ignore the ... once i laid all the wiring and parts out, it seemed like everything made sense. Nice form, poor function
Pros: aesthetically, the taillights look nice. I thought the quality was "fair". I did put a generous bead of silicone around the light to fill obvious gaps and make it more water resistant. The lights do fit into my black & white/Stormtrooper look of my truck. Cons: unfortunately, the lights do not function well. The lights just are not bright enough -- even after putting high-end LED bulbs in them. They are somewhat dim as running lights; however, they really fall short with the reverse lights, as I am having a very difficult time seeing things as I back up. Furthermore, they are not quite as bright as I think they should be when using the brake. My old lights were much brighter/more functional. These work perfect and look better then the stock lights with all the lines in them. Gives it a more natural look then the stock lights. It aslo matches my black trim, wheels and bull bar better. I'm pretty happy with them.
