Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Saddles & Seats
As far as I can tell, the leather on this saddle is of good quality. The rivets look questionable, but if they give way, the leather looks good enough to invest in new brass rivets and installation by a professional, which is what I plan to do if and when the rivets begin to go. As for the hardware under the saddle, I would expect it to rust badly if left outside in my native Florida (as everything here does), so I'll just keep the bike indoors when not in use (like I do with all my bikes). In my best opinion (lifelong avid cyclist and bike builder), the seat is well worth the low price that I paid for it. I like the saddle a lot. It looks good, too. Gets regular comments on my trusty 700c beater. I think I'll even invest in some real saddle oil for it. If it weathers like a good leather saddle should, it may last a long time.Read full review

The finish of the seat is very poor. The leather is covered with a fabric that has a fiberglass type hardener. It is not smooth an leaves a visible cross hatch pattern. Plus it is left sharp on the seat underside so as to cut a person grabbing the seat from underneath. Good theory on making the seat but very poor manufacturing quality.

This saddle is very hard on the bottom, and I don't think it will get better even with a long break-in period. I would not recommend this product because of the shape of the saddle. The nose points up, which means there is a hump that presses into a part of the body where you don't want to apply pressure. However, it is possible that other riders would not be bothered by the shape. In truth, I will continue to use it because I mostly ride my bike on short trips. The buyer should be aware that it is necessary to apply some leather conditioner so the saddle doesn't get ruined in the rain. This can be another 10 dollars or so.

Fit perfectly on my 1980's Schwinn Le Tour. Turns a warm honey brown when oiled. Next purchase will be matching leather grips. As a heavier rider, I modified (shortened) the front spring screw to give me a bit more travel when hitting bumps.

Poorly made. The color doesn't look anything like the add. Sorry you asked so this is my take on your product.
