Needed to add more USB ports to a Windows 7 computer and had no more PCI-e slots. While i would have liked USB 3.0, not possible on a PCI card, so this will work. Install was simple. Turned off computer, removed cover, put card in, put cover back on, and turned it on. Windows automatically found the driver and installed it. Box is labeled as Protronix, no idea on long term quality, but works for now. I have an "external" USB harddrive that I plugged into the internal port (a backup drive that never moves anyway), and on the external ports have a USB receiver for a mouse, printer, USB hub and a blutooth receiver, all working fine.
