Either they went bad or didnt work or the fit wasnt right. I tried the internal regulator addition to other alternators but that didnt work so I gave up a opted to buy this 1 wire alternator from Powermaster. I only wish I would have done this in the beginning. The fit was perfect, belt alignment was spot on, this alternator worked perfectly right out of the box! I will definitely buy again! Oh, btw, shipping was very fast.
