Got this rod to take on holiday, but gave it a try last weekend, easy to use and put together

The first time I used this rod the reel housing came unglued from the rod's base section, causing the reel to slide up and down the butt/base section. After superglueing things back in place I tried sea fishing a few days later. Although okay for mackerel trace casting and small ledger weights I just did not feel that the rod would stand up to much. I certainly would not consider it for boat fishing, or if decent size fish were expected to be caught.

Any doubts about the claims made for this rod went immediately I received it, it matches all that is said and more. It stores easily, assembles quickly and looks and feels the real thing. As I am a duffer fishing I hope it improves my ability to catch dinner, but at last I can't blame the tools!!
