Cut down a huge hardwood tree with it straight out of the box - after 1 hour run in on smaller branches. Just be aware that the chain oiling adjustment screw functions opposite to the markings on the saw case - well it does on my saw anyway. Fully "-" is max oil. Fully "+" is minimum oil.
