I rented this game when it first came out. Totally forgot about the name, because it got me so frustrated. Yet, I was compelled to play it. Never got to far though. I ran across an old video game magazine that I had that featured an article about "Silverload" and a light bulb went on in my head! That was the game that ticked me off years ago. The graphics are awesome for that time period and the music/game play is interesting. The only bad thing about this game is, once you have explored it all and done all things, the game interest is over. I'd also advise anyone who plays this game, to print off a walk through, so it'll be less frustrating to play.

I will keep this short . Silverload is a point and click for the p.c.that was released on ps. My brother purchased this game when it first came out.It never really took off for the ps i believe because there were at the time too many other game's being released that were far more action packed.Twisted metal 2 blood omen.etc. If you are a fan of the point and click's then this old game will keep you clicking away.graffixx are nothing compared to the p.c. point's they are creating these day's.(Mist,siberia,etc..) Ok we start off in a settlers camp where you are greeted by an old bat and her husband. There child has been taken and they are in need of your help. as you point around on various object's you will discover witch item's are useful and witch item's are just part of the backdrop. The story line is reat and at time's creepy.Werewolves's are lurking about... As for the shooting sequences they are far and few between and are actually laughable.I thought i was playing an old super nintendo game while popping away at the mind numb A.I. All in all the story is well written and will keep you interested. As far as action not much at all.just the dice throwing in the saloon. but a great game for the time..and it has some decently rendered scenes i would give it a 4of5 I still own that same copy..funy how we hold on to youthful memoriesRead full review
This game was fun to play. It's an older game for regular playstation so it doesn't have quite the graphics as the newer game systems have, but it was still a lot of fun. I bought it for my husband for Christmas, he'd been looking for it for a couple of years. He was glad when he finally found it on ebay. He played it through and then I actually played it and I don't play a lot of games on the game systems. It does have a lot of violence in it with your character shooting mutated werewolves, but with it being the older graphics it's really not that gross. We used a walkthrough that was found on the internet and it helped a lot. All in all, I'd recommend it to most people.
It’s a great point and click adventure that also adds some neat ideas to the genre. For example there are first person shooting parts of this game, Time moves in this game and it’s set across 3 days. You have to sleep at night but make sure you secure your space or you won’t wake up in the morning. My biggest complaint about this game is that the cursor doesn’t change to let you know when you’re over an interactive object like it does in games like broken sword. Another small complaint is that the game has so many items you can buy and take but the inventory is space is limited and it can be confusing as to which items you will actually use later. Still highly recommended for fans of point and click games. Especially ones not scared to use a guide.

This one was a game I bought back in the day and never beat. It didn't help that Vic Tokai (the developer) had absolutely NO SUPPORT at all. No crying for help when you got stumped either but now thanks to the internet (and Google!) you can find walk throughs that will help when stumped. The funny thing is that the old games are more satisfying than most of the new ones as they have plenty of replay value that I don't have with many new games.
