The item does look the part when fitted but the original is 70mm, the part number on the photo is for an 82mm boot badge and the diameter measured was 73mm. The badge on the face looks good and the two pins are positioned to go into two of the three holes for the bonnet badge location, no nuts are supplied and I fitted mine by putting two wall plugs onto the pins this gave a good location and by adding a little putty or silicon sealer it sits well. The rear edge is a little rough but otherwise the finish is good.

This BMW badge is not only NOT original but is of POOR construction. I had a non original bought on eBay that was better. The BMW metallic logo is attached to a black plastic base very flimsily. The base is too thick, or the logo too short, so you will see the black base under the metallic badge after installation on the car! It looks like if the badge is 1-2 mm over the position it should be! People rates this as perfect? Being new looks nice compared to my old one, but I know it won't last. Messaged the seller but no response.

There are so many fake plastic badges going around and new OEM badges are twice the price. Got my badge the next day and honestly looks brand new. Genuine BMW badge no doubt. But doesn't come with grommets.. luckily for me the grommets from my old badge were working well.

Fitted and was on the car for two weeks. Went down the motorway recently and the inner part of the badge flew off. So left with silver back plate attached to the bonnet and the BMW bit on the motorway somewhere. Look OK and original, but clearly are not well made.
