Outside is maybe a bit more scuffed than I'd expect for A-, but it's not that bad. Overall a great lens, already one of my favorites and for 100 bucks that's a pretty great deal.

The only issue - lens has a repulsive smell (formaldehyde?) and greasy residue around the M42 mount. The smell does not go away even after cleaning. Very odd. This should have been mentioned in description.

The box was literally being held together with duct tape, and there was no padding inside the box to stop the lens from bouncing around during shipping. I’m surprised the lens even survived! It was also a previously purchased and returned lens because the eBay return label was still in the box. Be cautious with this seller. Besides giving out other people’s personal information, their packaging is very unprofessional and careless.
