The 1st seal was stated to be an original Subaru seal and was packaged as such however it did not install well. Rather than risk a leak on the new clutch I ordered a 2nd seal from Subarupartsonline which installed beautifully. There's no comparison between the two parts, which forces me to think my 1st purchase was a counterfeit part. Thanks for bailing me out Subaru partsonline!
