    New age is nice

    I grew up with old school hoods, heavy, flip up/down, bulky. this new stuff is great. I just tinker and tack weld, so don't know how it holds up for big projects.

    Not for professional use

    I tried using it with my daily welding job. Hood is of great quality and feel, fits my head very comfortably. Lens is really clear in natural state. Strike an arc and it's really grainy and fuzzy. Very difficult to focus your eyes on a puddle. Almost like looking through a stocking.

    great product with a good price

    i was really surprised with the quality of the hood for such a low price....i guess ive been paying for a name in the past....ive used it 7 days in a row now and have no issues or forsee any in the future......just as good as my last 300.00 dollar hood

    Not good for welding, you will ruin your eyes

    The Auto Darken is too sensitive kicks on before I even start welding even when turned to lowest setting, and it's too light, doesn't come close to dark enough to weld safely on max settings, you will ruin your eyes if you use this, do not buy as welding helmet, I ended up using the horrible little hand held mask that came with welder. I will use mine as grinding mask only, waste of money, do not buy, I fell for all the "good" reviews, but trust me, it doesn't work as welding mask.

    the back is too short

    It does not show it from the picture, but when you are welding the back of the helmet does not cover the top of your head, allowing sparks to fly up and get on the top of your head...the shield does not come back far enough on top of head...but for the price, well you get what you pay for...
