Well packed so they don't rip open the envelope in mail sorting equipment and leave your magnets on the machine. Interestingly 10 of the 20 I ordered had a different north/south pole than the other 10. Not an issue for me. I have magnets in some cupboard doors. I glue a magnet to a drawer knob and use it to hold recipes while cooking. I just have to make sure the N/S pole orientation is correct before gluing.
