A REAL review, not a listing of the specs.
The features and price of this GPS unit will have you thinking it is too good to be true. And for the most part, it is. There is no GPS unit in the market that offers this combination of features for this price; which is exactly why I bought one of those myself. For the three days that it worked, it was excellent. Clear FM transmitter, good MP3 player, long lasting battery, and good enough navigation. On the 4th day it started experiencing a problem seen in many reviews: the unit kept misplacing my car by about 200 yards, thinking I was driving parallel to the highway (but not on it), so it kept giving me instructions on how to get on the highway I was already on......at every, single exit. This became very annoying, very quickly. I turned the unit off and gave it a break. The next day ... The features and price of this GPS unit will have you thinking it is too good to be true. And for the most part, it is. There is no GPS unit in the market that offers this combination of features for this price; which is exactly why I bought one of those myself. If you are going to buy this unit I would suggest you buy it from a store that has a good return policy. I will wait for the next version of it before I give Lowrance another chance.

Poor performer
I have this exact unit, it is true in giving precise directions when it’s up and running, unfortunately, it does NOT pick up the Satellite soon enough, it struggles for a long time and then it might and might not pick it up. At times I will get over half way where I am going before it picks up the Satellite, and that could be 20 to 30 miles out, this unit is great in turn by turn directions, however very, very poor Satellite on time pick up, so if you know your way at least for the first 20 to 30 miles it’s okay to buy. Used Lowrance iWay 350C
The iWay 350c was a great gps for its time. The screen is very clear and the touch screen works good. The on board maps are very detailed and the turn by turn system gets me where I want to go. Its not likely that there will be new map updates made for this unit, but with the Lowrance map create program and the sd card reader on board, new maps can be added at any time. The unit is a little heavy for the windshield suction cup mount, but if you let the bottom rest on the dash, it all stays in place. This is a quality piece of equipment and should last for years (it already has).The iWay 350c was a great gps for its time. The screen is very clear and the touch screen works good.
