For those people living in the Queensland tropics, take note, this is one plant of many that will deter Taipans from entering your garden, onions and garlic also help and so do those terrible mother in law tongue plants and their are still many more. I intend to have a safe and snake free garden, but yet I still have a problem of a very aggressive spider about the size of a Sydney funnel web spider, but more aggressive, fortunately not as toxic, but painful.
