    The Hole Truth

    A problem with the 2000 Ford Explorer V6 it seems. Questions are, Hard to start? Runs rough for a short time? Stalls on you? Then most likely it’s the ICAV. This valve lets the proper amount of air in as indicated by the vehicle computer. Part of the emissions control. You can take the old one off and clean it with brake cleaner and ear swaps. Just remove the carbon deposits. It will need too be replaced in time unfortunately. Quite easy and inexpensive to DIY. And that my friends is what I call The Hole Truth.
