It took me less than 10 minutes to replace it for my 5 year old versin of this pump, which had done a great job considering its usage and some of the environments and water it had had to deal with. I took the opportunity to attach connectors to the pump and 12v wires to make any future replacement even easier. Highly recommend this product from this supplier.

This one is much quieter & so far all good. Apparently the connections need to be protected with silicone to prevent water& dust getting into the connections.
