I have only used Phillips shavers for all my shaving life approx 65 years. This one is well built etc but it does not give a very good shave. My last one is 20 +years old and the new one is no better that this one. It just doesn't feel sharp. It feels like it needs new cutters. All in all i am rather dissappointed with it. This is the first phillips that I have had has a hinged head. I don't know if this is the problem or not but it just doesn't feel sharp. I haven't taken the cutters out to have a look, but it is as much work or more than the 20 year old one.I have only used Phillips shavers for all my shaving life approx 65 years. A very good product
Being able to shave wet or dry is a big feature. Also with self sharpening blades it should not get blunt. Just don't know how long they will last. Also easy to clean.

Better than the one it replaces.
Better than the opposition rotary shaver, that it is replacing, by a mile. Cuts more cleanly and doesn't give me a rash. I think Philips invented the rotary shaver so they should be good at it. I would buy again if it ever wears out.
